Diagnostic Gait Analysis combines critical gait evaluation with state of the art musculoskeletal ultrasonography for performance evaluations, pre-performance screening and lameness exams. The analysis begins with a dynamic exam on an equine treadmill, which improves objectivity by providing consistent footing, minimizing distractions and eliminating perspective distortion. Dynamic exam is followed by comprehensive ultrasound in order to reach diagnosis and guide treatment.

Proper rehabilitation is a critical component of managing sport injuries. The most important factor in return to function is proper oversight during strengthening and re-conditioning programs. Established protocols are only guidelines and the individual patient will ultimately determine rehabilitation details and timeline.

• Shockwave / ESWT is a powerful therapeutic tool for many injuries and performance limiting syndromes. By affecting gene expression, cell differentiation, cell migration, protein synthesis and softening trigger points, shockwave is powerful regenerative and reparative therapy source. $100 per session or $500 per protocol.
• Regenerative Laser Therapy is a special class of laser treatment which produces regenerative acoustic waves similar to shockwave in addition to the shared laser benefits of  increased circulation (blood flow), oxygenation and metabolic function. $50 per session or $500 -$600 per protocol. 
• Cold Salt Water Spa combines cryotherapy, aeration and saltwater fluid dispersal to provide analgesia, promote haling and provide increased circulation for injuries and/or post training sessions. 

Roger Kelsey of Rocking K Equine Dentistry regularly visits Trailmark Equine Clinic for performance dentistry. More than just  removing sharp points, Roger’s three point balance optimizes lateral  excursion and ensures uninhibited  rostral-caudal movement, essential  functions for appropriate bitting behaviors. Roger was certified by the  Academy of Equine Dentistry in 2005, where he returns every year to  teach. 

Roger was a past board  member of the International Association of Equine Dentistry and has had  several articles published on the topic of equine dentistry.  He  regularly works with other top professionals in the field from around  the world, including Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden. In  his spare time he enjoys competing in team roping, spending time with  his two horses, and promoting his Blue Roan Hancock Stallion, Hy King  Hancock.
